Videos of Hot Air Balloons

 THIS.  This is the shot I dreamed of getting last year, when instead, I put my drone in Prospect Lake.  But that's a story for another time.  I really love so much about this clip.  I hope you do too. This was on Labor Day at the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off, 2022. 

 One of my favorite clips of the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off.  I caught this frog ascending with the launch field and the city in the background.  We did a little dance in the air before it hopped off to the east to join his other balloon friends. 

Darth Vader and Yoda were out for a stroll in the breeze over Prospect Lake at the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off.  Seems like Yoda didn't feel like talking. Pilots Michael Shrum and Michael Lambert respectively.   #ldlo 

 This is a balloon that other pilots have to chase as part of a contest at the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off.  I flew parallel to them as they dipped down.  Cool shot! 

 This balloonist got a bath from the waist down on this deep splash and dash at the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off.  Nice recovery! 

The City of Colorado Springs Balloon was facing just right to capture this shot and then I panned up the Front Range to capture Cheyenne Mountain, Pikes Peak, Downtown, and the Garden of the Gods.

 I wish I'd been further east and hit record faster.  There were so many balloons attempting a "Splash and Dash" that I barely spun around in time to capture this epic dunk.  At the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off 2022. 

I was capturing footage of balloons getting ready to launch when just over a minute into the video, a red balloon flew towards my drone so I got above it and was able to shoot it passing under.
